Internet has changed the way we live. With the click of a mouse, we can be connected with people from all over the world. It is also easier to meet people of the opposite sex. Have you heard of anyone who does internet dating? What was their experience? Would you consider dating someone you have met over the Internet? Why or why not?

I know a guy who found this girl on the internet through a social network and now this october their getting married. how bout that..

yes , i had heard about this internet dating from my friends. i dont think the internet dating is good for teenagers . this is because the man/woman does not know what their real background . in addition , they might been cheating about their background . so , the internat dating give negative effects to us.

well to date a person i met through the internet? i dont think i would coz we've heard a lot of news on people getting fooled by this. but to make a friend through it would be considerable.

i wouldnt date anyone that i have met over the internet, i think its better to date someone that we meet in real world, at least you can get to know him/her better

yes! many people nowadays are obssesed with the internet. why not they fall in love through the internet especially nowadays we have facebook as as to connect people from over the world. i have heard a lot about "the virtual love" . they seem happy for a year maybe but two or three years later they have already separated with their partner.

its a fake life behind the digital world. One would not know how the person really looks like in the real life. He/she may say that they're handsome/pretty, but, it turns out of the blue when we go for a blind date. HOW GREAT =.="

yes, i have heard about that...the girl was very excited to date with guy that she found on the internet...but after she meet that guy, she told me..that she will never do thing like that again...

yes , i'm totally agree with you . we can know better the person and i dont think he/she would cheat about theirself . and we can know their real characteristic better .

Wow, this is such an interesting topic. Hehe, never mind me.
Some couples who date online have never met before they are officially dating, but some meet first.
Just like my friend, she's now with a guy who's studying overseas. They are now together for almost a year. And they only get the chance to meet after 9 months they have been dating online. However, still their relationship lasts long.
But we still can't deny the fact that internet dating is quite dangerous for some girls out there. They sometimes easily believe to a guy who is a total stranger.
Like me, I knew my previous ex-boyfriend through Facebook but he was not a 100% stranger to me because he's a friend of my friends. So yeah.
It's all depends on how one make use of it in a positive way.

P/S: Love is blind.

my cousin has found her fiancee through the social sites and now they about to getting married. they have a happy relationship now. the internet dating has their own pro's and con's. for me i would say no to it because the internet dating could be dangerous especially to girl. admiring face-face person is better.

nowdays,internet is a must in our daily life..we can also communicate with other people around the world by using internet such facebook,twitter,myspace and friendster..so..no wonder,there are people who does internet dating..i have heard it before in the newspaper that there is a couple get married only by using internet..but we must be careful because someone might try to do bad things to us..hurmm..

For me, we should not get easily fooled by this internet dating...
