Water Conservation

First topic message reminder :

The water supply in the hostel is disrupted again… for the umpteenth time! The school has done everything they could such as contacting the Water Supply Department and installing more water tanks. However, the condition has not improved. The students plan to take a more active role to cope with the water shortage. As a member of the Student Union, voice out the inconvenience of water shortage and discuss the ways to cope with it.

The school administration should not be blamed. Instead, the Water Supply Department should have take action for this problem. On the other hand, the students should play their role by reporting any inconvenience or problems either at the hostel or school. They also should be trained to minimize the use of water. They shouldn't take water for granted. What I can see in the hostel is, the students do not realize this problem and how they can play their role to curb it. Moreover, they tend to waste the water for the laundry and else. After all, we need Water Supply Department to improve on the water supply quality.

yeah adilah! go ahead.. try using distilled water n bath.. let yourself to be the experimental thing..

if we bathe in the morning, we will feel fresh. i cant deny that we will feel sleepy. that is because we, SESERIAN student, can sleep everywhere!

As a member of the Student Union, I would like to say something about the inconvenience of water shortage in the hostel. It was like annoying. Yes, because every morning if we did not wake up early, we have to be patient to fullfill the pail with water. Some of us never used this before because at home, we did not face this problem.

One of the way to cope with it is try to not use the water too much in the same time such as to take shower, wash your clothes, wash the toilet itself and others. Don't get the toilet full with students to use the water in the same time or else you will face the same problem.

if we dont bathe especially during this fasting month, it makes it harder to stay awake and easier to doze off, like siriusly

We must bring our own water to make sure the water are enough in our hostel. We must no wasting the water to do something that not needed. Besides that, we also can take the water in the river behind our hostel right? There are a clean river which the water was so cleared ;p HEHE..~

water conservation should be like using water just when you need it,example..washing your clothes with a big quantity could help save up the water! is that what you did?i guess no

Yes, so sleepy. Because water carried oxygen. Plus, we are fasting right now. So, we need more oxygen by taking shower in the morning. Yes, who would feel comfortable without taking shower in the morning? Smelly!

after sahur, straight away head to our lovely toilets and bath. or bath before sahur.. i think, this way can help to conserve at least more water than before.. right peeps?

ehem, minimize the duty for toilet (*highlighted), i just did it last night, such a chaotic down there. wet all over me

ask the school to make a pool...it will not wasting the water as the water we will use for a week..!

Lately , my hostel's block also had a same problem as well because my school located in the middle of the K.L area . As you know , K.L is having a problem of water crisis. I think they should use it wisely & think of the others too . We can conserve it when washing dishes by hand, don't let the water run while rinsing , shorten your shower by a minute or two or else when doing laundry, match the water level to the size of the load.

dinie..ur rite!!they should take further action for this problems especially among the boarding scholl student..9A+ frens..we need water!haha
